The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Samuel E. According to the Commissioner, the successes recorded by the Command in combating crime across the state are partly attributable to the invaluable support and cooperation of law-abiding residents.

He assured Deltans that the initiative would continue beyond the Customer Service Week as part of sustained efforts to bridge the gap between the police and the public.

Erale reiterated that the police exist to serve and protect the people, noting that public confidence and cooperation remain essential to effective policing.

He urged residents to remain vigilant, promptly report suspicious activities and sustain their partnership with the Command to ensure a safer environment for everyone.

The Command said the statewide engagement underscores its commitment to responsive, people-oriented policing and the promotion of stronger relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, SP Bright Edafe, ANIPR, and dated October 8, 2026, the Command appreciated Deltans for their continued support and cooperation, while reaffirming its determination to strengthen community partnerships in the fight against crime.
