Medical doctor kidnapped in Adamawa set freed by bandits

Dr. Saidu Bala, a medical doctor and the owner of a private hospital in Yola, Adamawa State, has been released after being kidnapped by gunmen suspected of being bandits.
Bala was abducted while visiting patients at his hospital in Ngurore, a satellite town on the outskirts of Yola, the state capital, on Monday evening.

According to reports, four assailants stormed the hospital and forcibly took him away while firing shots to scare people away.
