Mr Government stated this while fielding questions from journalists at his home in Ughelli, Delta State, where he hosted hundreds of political associates for his 70th birthday celebration.

He proposed that the Delta Central Senatorial district and Delta North Senatorial district support the Ijaw from Delta South district’s ambition to lead the state after Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration, noting that the Ijaws have been key players in the past in producing the state’s governors.
