The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Samuel E. Erale, has convened a strategic meeting with security agencies, traffic management officials and road construction contractors to address persistent traffic congestion along the Asaba–Onitsha Expressway, particularly around the Niger Bridge corridor.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Delta State Police Headquarters in Asaba, focused on measures to ease traffic flow and improve road safety amid ongoing construction work ahead of the festive season.
