Oba Olufemi Allen Taylor, the Olu of Kobape in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, has passed away.

Aremo Olusegun Osoba, the former governor of Ogun State, announced this in a message on Friday.

According to him, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, approved the monarch’s death announcement.
“I announce that the Olu of Kobape, Oba Olufemi Taylor, has joined his ancestors on the authority and approval of the paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo,” wrote Aremo Osoba.

Oluwo Oba, the former Governor of Ogun State, stated that the Alake is putting in place arrangements for the Kobape Kingdom’s administration.

Before ascending the throne, the late monarch served as Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS).
