On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2022 appropriation bill, bringing the total amount to N17.126 trillion.
In October, Buhari presented the Appropriation bill to both chambers of the National Assembly, dubbed a “Budget of Economic Growth and Sustainability,” with a budget estimate of 16.39 trillion dollars.

The budget was passed after Bill’s report was reviewed and adopted by the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, Hon. Muktar Betara.
