Elaigwu Odogbo John, a pastor with the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has been crowned the new Och’Idoma, the Idoma Nation’s supreme ruler.
After the death of His Royal Highness, Agabaidu Elias Ikoyi Obekpa, who went on a hunting expedition on October 10, the 52-year-old clergy defeated Andrew Idakwu and Sunday Echono to become the new king in Idoma land.

Pastor Elaigwu was born on March 27, 1969, to Mr. ELAIGWU EKOJA’s family in Obagaji, the headquarters of the AGATU Local Government Area in Benue State.
He earned a B.Sc in Accounting with honors from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria in 1994 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Accounting at Nasarawa State University in Keffi.
