The Association of Proprietors of Private Media Establishment of Nigeria (APPMEN), in strategic partnership with 7AI, is set to launch the APPMEN-Digital Content Creators’ Money Recovery Clinic at the ASO APPMEN-Content Creators 2026 1-Day Conference.
The high-impact conference and clinic are designed to equip Nigerian content creators and media owners with practical knowledge and tools to track, claim and recover revenues that are currently outstanding or unpaid by major global digital platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other digital service providers.
The conference and clinic will focus on the theme: “Practical Steps to Recover Monies Currently Outstanding, or Services Not Paid for, by Key Global Platforms.”
Driving Revenue Justice for Nigerian Creators
The initiative comes against the backdrop of the rapid growth of Nigeria’s creator economy, which generates billions of naira in traffic, content and audience engagement annually. Despite this growth, many Nigerian creators continue to lose potential earnings because of policy violations, documentation errors, demonetisation and difficulties accessing appropriate support and dispute-resolution channels on global platforms.
National Coordinator of APPMEN, Chief Precious Enebuse, said the partnership with 7AI and the establishment of the Money Recovery Clinic were deliberate measures to protect the business interests and financial rights of media owners and content creators.
“This 7AI partnership and the Money Recovery Clinic are deliberate steps by APPMEN to protect the business interests of our members,” Enebuse said.
“We are moving from complaints to solutions. Creators deserve transparency, and they deserve to be paid for the value they create. At the ASO Conference, we will show them exactly how.”
Dr Kayode Femi to Headline Money Recovery Clinic
APPMEN has announced Dr Kayode Femi as a keynote speaker and featured expert at the clinic.
Dr Femi is expected to provide participants with practical guidance on the common challenges that prevent creators from receiving their legitimate earnings, as well as strategies for recovering outstanding revenues.
His presentation will cover:
Common mistakes and omissions that block creators from receiving payments;
Proven strategies for avoiding errors and remaining compliant with global platform policies; and
Legal, technical and professional remedies available for revenue recovery.
Participants will also be introduced to AI-powered tools from 7AI designed to help creators track their earnings, identify discrepancies and streamline claims and engagements with digital platforms.
Objectives of the Conference and Clinic
At the end of the one-day ASO APPMEN-Content Creators 2026 Conference, participants are expected to:
