Adedoyin, six staff remanded over alleged murder of OAU student

An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo presided over by the Chief Justice of Osun State, Adepele Ojo, has ordered that the owner of Hilton Hotel and Resort, Dr Rahmon Adedoyin and six others be remanded in Ilesha Correctional Centre.

The seven defendants: Rahmon Adedoyin, Magdalena Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwole Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle and Adesola Adedeji were arraigned before Justice Adepele Ojo on 11 counts of conspiracy, murder, felony, dumping of a corpse, alteration of receipt and oath-taking to prevent justice.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the alleged offences.

The defence counsel, K.K Eleja, SAN and Kunle Adegoke, SAN moved bail application of the first to sixth defendants except for the seventh defendant (Adesola Adedeji) who was just added to the charge.
The prosecutor, M Omosun moved the objection application.
Justice Ojo ordered that the defendants be remanded in Ilesha Correctional facility and adjourned the case to Friday, March 4th, 2022 for argument of bail of the seventh defendant.
