Delta, Anambra Police Launch Joint Waterways Patrol to Curb Kidnapping, Drug Trafficking in Asaba

‎ As part of ongoing efforts to combat crime and enhance security across Delta State, a contingent of police operatives drawn from the Marine Units of both the Delta and Anambra State Police Commands supported by personnel of the Buffalo Team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, embarked on a coordinated patrol operation along critical waterways bordering the Second Niger Bridge axis through to the Asaba Grand Hotel area.



‎This proactive operational engagement is part of the command’s commitment to addressing emerging security threats and ensuring the safety of residents and commuters.



‎All officers involved in the exercise were properly kitted with life jackets as part of safety protocols and professionalism in the discharge of policing duties. The operation was carried out successfully without any incident.
