CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT: SECOND BATCH OF AMMENDMENT STARTING SOON.

The Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila says a second batch of ammendment to the 1999 constitution will soon start.
Gbajabiamila disclosed this while fielding questions from reporters at governmment house, Ilorin.
He said there will be more devolution of power from the exlusive to the concurrent list in the new amendment.
The Speaker also disclosed that both chambers of the national assembly will harmonize the amendments and also send to the state houses of assembly.
The kwara state governor stressed the need to have more women in government especially thirty five percent affirmative.
Political appointments he added should be increased for womenfolk and urged other states to emulate kwara in this regard.
