Adeboye discusses the next Nigerian president in his 2022 prophecies
1 min readPastor E A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has responded to questions about who will be Nigeria’s next president.
While unveiling prophecies for the new year during a New Year sermon, Adeboye said God has yet to reveal President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor to him.
The 79-year-old minister, who warned against fake prophecies, said there was no need to guess with prophecy, and that any prophecy that includes the word “maybe” is a forgery.
In his New Year’s prognosis, Adeboye predicted that many unknown stars would emerge in 2022, as well as financial and scientific breakthroughs.

“If someone asks me today, as many people are doing, Daddy, who is going to be our next President?” he said.
“I don’t know,” says the narrator. ‘How can you claim ignorance? ‘You are God’s (Daddy’s) son.’ He hasn’t yet informed me. With prophecy, you don’t make educated guesses.”
“This year will see the rise of previously undiscovered stars.”
“Despite everything, this year will be a year of massive breakthroughs (in science and finance),” says the author.
