The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) National Chairman Sylvester (Sly) Ezeokenwa’s leadership has been maintained by the Nigerian Supreme Court.
Edozie Njoku was also fined ₦20 million for bringing a baseless lawsuit at the FCT High Court in Bwari, according to the ruling, which was handed out on Wednesday.
The ruling was made soon after Njoku was barred from posing as the party’s chairman by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
According to Justice James Omotosho, there was no legitimate court order—not even one from the Supreme Court—that acknowledged Njoku’s leadership.

APGA and Ezeokenwa sued to overturn this ruling, claiming that Njoku’s allegation was unsupported by the law.
By resolving a significant dispute inside the APGA, the Supreme Court’s ruling stabilizes the party’s leadership.
