ONDO BYE ELECTION: ADU EMERGES PDP’S CANDIDATE.

Olumuyiwa Adu has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the house of representatives bye-election for the vacant seat of Akure north/south slated for February 26, 2022.

Adu won the election with 98 votes to push Kemisola Adesanya, who got 70 votes to second place, with three other aspirants also getting some of the votes*

A total of Two hundred and thirty three delegates participated in the primary election.

Chairman of the five man Electoral Committee,Amos Fawole while announcing the results commended the Aspirants for conducting themselves in orderly manner.

The primary was monitored by staff of the independent national electoral commission, INEC, while operatives of different Security Agencies in the state were on hand to ensure hitchfree exercise.
