20 bandits, 7 villagers killed as military engage bandits in Zamfara village
1 min readOn Saturday, a number of bandits were reported dead when they terrorized Karakkai village in the Nahuche region of Zamfara state’s Bungudu Local Government Area.
They were also accused of killing seven indigenous people.

Over twenty bandits were neutralized by a combined task force of the Nigerian Army and Civilians (JTF), according to some of the locals, and hundreds of arms, including motorcycles, firearms, and ammo, were collected.
Many of the bandits were apprehended by security officers, according to sources.
The thieves apparently set fire to a number of local grocery stores.

“They would have slaughtered a lot more people if the Nigeria Army’s Quick Response had not intervened when they got distress calls from the people of Karakkai.”
“We pray that Allah SWT accept those who died into Jannah, allow their families the strength to bear this irreparable loss, and may Allah restore enduring peace to our State and country,” the source stated.
