20 bandits, 7 villagers killed as military engage bandits in Zamfara village

On Saturday, a number of bandits were reported dead when they terrorized Karakkai village in the Nahuche region of Zamfara state’s Bungudu Local Government Area.
They were also accused of killing seven indigenous people.

Over twenty bandits were neutralized by a combined task force of the Nigerian Army and Civilians (JTF), according to some of the locals, and hundreds of arms, including motorcycles, firearms, and ammo, were collected.
Many of the bandits were apprehended by security officers, according to sources.
The thieves apparently set fire to a number of local grocery stores.
