Ramatu Yunusa, the wife of the abducted chairman of the Zamfara State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Sanusi Gusau Yunusa, has given birth while in captivity.
Ramatu, who was nine months pregnant at the time, was kidnapped in the early hours of Tuesday in her husband’s house in Damba Gusau.

According to the report, Ramatu’s husband, Mr. Yunusa, said she gave birth to their child at the bandits’ camp around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
“As I speak to you now, I don’t know whether the newborn baby is a boy or a girl, but all I know is that my wife gave birth to the baby,” he explained.
