As concerns mount, Comrade Prince Saviour Iche, aka “Voice of the Voiceless”, noted Nigerians are demanding clarity from the Nigeria police on Ogala’s arrest and the status of her allegations against Chris Okafor.
Recently, Ogala had publicly accused Okafor of promising marriage, leading to an abortion, and hinted at dark secrets involving Okafor and a church altar. With the police maintaining an unsettling silence, the public wants answers on whether Ogala’s arrest was connected to her explosive claims and what actions authorities are taking regarding her pleas for investigation, Comrade Prince Saviour Iche noted.
Iche said,
“In the midst of a dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala was arrested on December 20, 2025; Ogala confirmed the presence of police in her home during her live broadcast. Thanks to the efforts of influencer Martins Otse, aka VDM, and human rights campaigner Omoyele Sowore, she was freed on December 22, two days later.”
“The controversy surrounding Doris Ogala’s arrest deepens as Nigerians press for answers from the police. Ogala’s allegations against Chris Okafor had been making headlines, with claims of broken promises. Her sudden arrest and release without explanation has fuelled speculation of a cover-up, particularly given Okafor’s influential position.”
“The Nigerian Police Force’s silence on the matter has drawn sharp criticism, with many demanding transparency on Ogala’s detention and the status of her allegations. “Why the secrecy if there’s nothing to hide?” questioned a social media user. Others are linking the arrest to Ogala’s vocal criticism of Okafor, a prominent faith leader.”
“Ogala’s accusations had included Okafor’s promising marriage and her terminating a pregnancy based on that promise. She also publicly urged authorities to investigate Okafor’s conduct, alleging he “buried something on the altar”. With no official word from police on these claims or Ogala’s arrest, Nigerians are left wondering about the force’s next steps. The lack of communication has intensified calls for accountability.”
Furthermore, Iche reiterates that Ogala has called on authorities, specifically the Department of State Services (DSS), to investigate Okafor regarding claims that he buried something on an altar. Despite these serious allegations and the public outcry, the Nigerian Police have yet to provide any responses or updates regarding the arrest or the investigation into Ogala’s claims against Okafor, leaving many Nigerians eager for answers about the situation.
According to Comrade Prince Saviour Iche, Doris Ogala was arrested and subsequently released, prompting widespread confusion among the public regarding the reasons behind her arrest and the identity of those responsible.
The public needs to know why Doris Ogala was detained for talking about her pain; thus, it’s critical that the Nigeria Police provide a clear statement to dispel any uncertainty. According to Doris Ogala’s knowledge, the DSS should also move swiftly; nothing should be overlooked, Iche added.
