UAFADA Celebrates End-of-Year Party, Honours Patrons and Entrepreneurs in Festac–Amuwo

The Union of Auto Dealers Association of Festac Amuwo (UAFADA) marked the end of the year with a well-attended party and award presentation ceremony, celebrating unity, progress and outstanding contributions to the growth of the auto trade within Festac Town and Amuwo-Odofin.
The event brought together members of the association, industry stakeholders and invited dignitaries, creating a platform to reflect on the year’s achievements while appreciating individuals whose support and leadership have strengthened UAFADA.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the conferment of the Grand Patron of UAFADA on Chief Fabian Onukogu, in recognition of his overwhelming support, commitment, dedication and invaluable advisory services to the association. UAFADA leaders described him as a dependable pillar whose guidance has continued to shape the association’s stability and vision.
Also honoured was Chief Sir Dave Chuka Okafor, who was presented with the title of Patron of UAFADA. The award was in recognition of his consistent support, commitment and exemplary leadership guidance to the association, which members acknowledged as instrumental to UAFADA’s sustained progress.
In celebrating entrepreneurship and grassroots impact, Sir Amechi Nwabueze received the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award for his hard work and for providing moral and physical support, especially to upcoming auto dealers across Festac and Amuwo. His dedication to mentoring and encouraging young dealers was commended as a strong contribution to the future of the auto business in the area.
Similarly, Onyemaechi Innocent Ogbonna was honoured with the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award in recognition of his hard work, inspiration, leadership and unwavering business support to fellow auto dealers in Festac and Amuwo-Odofin. The association praised his collaborative spirit and positive influence within the trade.
The ceremony was further graced by the presence of notable dignitaries, including the Vice Chairman of NAGAFF Tin Can Chapter, who is also the CEO of MariJoe Shipping Agency, adding industry prestige to the occasion.
In their remarks, award recipients expressed gratitude to UAFADA for the recognition and pledged continued support to the association’s growth and unity. The event concluded in an atmosphere of celebration, music and networking, as members looked forward to a more prosperous and impactful year ahead for UAFADA and the auto dealers community.
