The Executive governor of Rivers State has denied reports making the rounds that he was offered a senatorial ticket my the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
In a firery message published on his official Facebook page on Saturday, Wike accused mischief makers of being behind the claims.

Reports emerged that during the interview granted to TVC News, the governor said that Tinubu offered him a senatorial ticket in exchange for his support.
Wike alledgely made other claims in relation to the ongoing crisis in the People’s Democratic Party. But the governor denied mentioning anything about the purported senatorial ticket by Tinubu.
