Three Siblings Discovered Dead Inside A Parked Car In Ikorodu.

Three siblings were discovered dead inside a parked car in the Owode Elede neighbourhood of Ikorodu, Lagos, where they were playing.
The event occurred on Thursday after the children were unable to exit a parked Hyundai Accent automobile with the plate number BDG404CL where they were playing at 16, Gbamire Street, Owode Elede.
According to The Nation, the children, identified as Oliseh, Daniel, and Destiny Egba, aged three, six, and eight years, died as a result of suffocation.

It’s unclear how long they were trapped inside the vehicle until their remains were discovered by the automobile owner’s visitors.
“No one knew they were inside the truck,” an eyewitness stated. They were discovered by some visitors who came to see the owner while gazing at the automobile.
“Their mother had not returned from the market when their remains were taken out around 7 p.m.
“Because her neighbors did not have her phone number, police had to wait until she got home about 11:30 p.m. to inform her.”

“The children were apparently not in the care of anyone else; whomever was in charge of them would have searched for them before their mother returned from the market.”
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the State Police, confirmed the incident, saying that police operatives assigned to Owode Onirin received information around 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, that the young siblings were found lifeless inside the car.
