On Friday, suspected thugs disrupted the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly primary in the Alimosho Federal Constituency of Lagos State, leaving three people dead.
When hoodlums invaded the venue of the exercise in the Ikotun area of the state, the individuals which includes The zonal and branch chairman of Union transport were killed by stray bullets and attacks, one of the three killed is yet to be identified.
Thugs loyal to various aspirants are said to have fought and chased people away with dangerous weapons such as guns, cutlasses, knives, and bottles.
Many delegates were also beaten, with some of them suffering injuries as a result.
The thugs also took to the main road, where they fired gunshots and disrupted vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Information from the streets had it that one of the unionist was killed by a stray bullet while the other was hit by men from Enilolobo’s chamber.

On Thursday, the party’s primary election for the House of Assembly in Alimosho constituency 1 was also cancelled due to disagreements and disruptions.
