The Nwanogho family celebrates Grandma Victoria Uwanogho at 75 as Eze Okpoko makes an epic speech

The 75th birthday celebration of Grandma Victoria Uwanogho was a “Talk of the Town” event, as dignitaries from all walks of life graced the occasion in grand style.

Traditional rulers of Igbo descent, Deltans, and other tribes were also in attendance. Traditional leaders present include: Eze Chika Nwokedi Ezendigbo Ijegun Ijeododo, Chairman Council of Ndi Ezes in Lagos, and his cabinet chiefs; Eze Nicholas Njoku Ezendigbo Ejigbo and his entourage; and some baales and chiefs. Police officers who are friends with the host as well as military officers were seen in attendance in honour of the celebrant.

Grandma Victoria Uwanogho is described as a virtuous woman worth celebrating for her astute, loving, and caring nature. She’s a disciplinarian who obliges her children and those in her care to have a godly upbringing transversed into yielding results, seemingly grooming them to be successful in life.

Speaking with the eldest son of the celebrant,Chief James Uwanogho, he told NaomiSophy Blog and PrimeTime Reports that his mother, Madam Victoria, deserves to be honoured for her motherly role in bringing up able men who have done well in life. He revealed that this year’s event for Mama was put together by her male children, all of whom were present at the celebration. He describes Mama as a disciplinarian, a wonderful woman, and a lovely mother to her children and husband.

Chief James Uwanogho also noted that the celebrant brought her nine children up as Christians, which has moulded their lives positively. He says plans are underway to make Mama very comfortable in her personal house when she reaches 80 years old, wishes her a long life in good health and happiness, unbehalf of his siblings.

At the event, Eze Chika Nwokedi Okpoko 1 of Obodoukwu, Ezendigbo Ijegun Ijeododo, who’s known for his versatility, oratory prowess, and philanthropy, especially to widows and the less privileged, delivered an applauded eulogy in praise of Grandma Victoria Uwanogho. The essence of celebrating the old folks while they are alive is a sense of appreciation and honour well deserved to corroborate a parent’s selfless sacrifice. Advises all present to care for their parents, give them all the happiness they need while alive, not throw big parties after death when they are unconscious of your efforts of honour. Congratulates the celebrant, gives cash and material gifts.

Chief Sunny Uwanogho, who is presumably  the second son of the Uwanogho family, is known for his philanthropic activities, during the celebration, he embraced family and friends, also treats guests to music and other entertainment in gratitude to God for the preservation of the life of Grandma Victoria.
