Serial rapist arrested for luring, defiling minors as young as 8 yrs old in Adamawa.

A serial rapist identified as Wilson Sunday has been arrested for allegedly defiling 5 minors in the Yola North LGA of Adamawa State.
It was learnt that the minors sexually assaulted by Sunday were between the ages of 8 & 14.
The spokesperson for the Command, Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement on Thursday said the suspect committed the crimes in 2023. He explained that the suspect disguised himself & lured the victims into uncompleted buildings, away from the eyes of the public & took advantage of them while they were on their way to school or returning from school. Thereafter, he would have carnal knowledge of them.
He said, “Adamawa State Police Command on 4/06/2023 apprehended a 35-year-old habitual rapist for defiling 5 minors in the 8 – 14 age bracket in Bachure, Yola North.

Preliminary investigation so far reveals that the suspect is a father of 2 & now living alone after he separated from his wife.
