A video showing police officers assaulting and dehumanizing a woman in Nikoro close, near Eghwere road, Agbarho, Delta State, has sparked huge outrage online.

According to reports, the victim identified as Martha Igbigbi was accosted by the police officers who visited her residence to arrest her son who wasn’t available. It is reported that the police officers who were five in number, including a female, ordered her to accompany them to their police station but she refused.

They proceeded to assault her and tie her up before bundling her into their vehicle. In the video, the victim who is partly unclad, can be heard refusing to enter their vehicle as the police officers dehumanize her.
