Nigeria Confirms 2123 New Cases at COVID-19

The deadly coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has been confirmed in 2123 new cases in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the cases on its official Facebook page on Wednesday morning.

The new cases were reported in 11 states: “Lagos-1552, FCT-197, Edo-155, Rivers-81, Delta-44, Plateau-33, Kwara-30, Kano-16, Enugu-12, Gombe-2, Bauchi-1,” according to the NCDC.

Today’s report includes 33 confirmed cases and 10 discharges from Plateau state for December 20, 2021, 12 confirmed cases from Enugu state for December 20, 2021, and 0 cases from Sokoto state,” according to the NCDC.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 227,378 with 211,761 discharged cases and 2,989 COVID-19-related deaths.
