Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has criticised renowned clergyman, Pastor Tunde Bakare, over his recent comments on the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohad.
Recall that Pastor Bakare, while preaching in Leicester, the United Kingdom, at a church event on Sunday, stated that Mohbad had reaped the reward of his actions.
The General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church said Mohbad was associated with evil people and spent his life smoking and drinking.
Reacting in a post via his X handle on Monday, Fani-Kayode cautioned the clergymen from judging Mohbad’s lifestyle, saying that every human has the choice to live the kind of life they want, and should not be judged.
Fani-Kayode said whether Mohbad associated with evil men or not, he surely did not deserve to be murdered, stressing that everyone has the right to life regardless of the friends they keep or their lifestyle.
Merging the pictures of Bakare and Mohbad, the former minister stated that Bakare should rather be calling for the investigation of those who killed the late singer.
He wrote: “Whether the unfortunate young man known as Mohbad was good or bad and whether he associated with evil men or not, he surely did not deserve to be murdered.
