The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has gained more support ahead of the 2023 governorship election in Lagos State.
This is coming after the governorship candidates of the African Peoples Party (APP), Abiola Adeyemi and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Adenipebi Adekunle stepped down to support Jandor.
The PDP flagbearer also received the support of leaders and members of other political parties, under the aegis of the Conference of Registered and Deregistered Political Parties (CPP).
The co-political group that spread across Lagos State with structures in 20 Local Government and 37 Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs, have decamped and endorsed the candidacy of Jandor.
Members of the group vowed to ensure that Jandor comes out victorious in the 2023 governorship election.
Jandor is contesting against the Lagos State Governor and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other governorship candidates in the state.
