In his quest to advance in efforts from the achievements attained in past leadership positions held, Hon. Hakeem, the Accord governorship candidate recounted his aims and agenda to serve Lagos. Notably, Lagos is already a megacity, what the HOD Accord seeks to do is to ensure that Lagos becomes a livable, safe and sustainable city; and to provide realistic solutions to the defects that had come with the megacity actualisation.

He stated that Accord will ensure that rulership in Lagos will be handed over to the youth in time to come, that Lagos will be made a SMART CITY not a MEGA CITY. The outcome of the development so far in making Lagos a mega city ( The 1999 Vision) has only yielded an increase in population leading to overpopulation, incessant crimes, environmental pollution, insufficient employment opportunities, increase in illegal activities, insufficient housing facilities, underfunded medical care system, insufficient health care centres and as such demands a total overhaul, Hon. Hakeem quipped.

The Agenda of Accord party in Lagos is to restore sanctity to the increasing menace in today’s Lagos thereby creating a total reform to restore freedom, health, safety and environmental degradation, security issues, to promote information, communication and technology, restore quality education, infrastructural development, promote arts, culture, entertainment, tourism and sports as well as many other unaddressed areas of concern. The aim of this put to place variants is to make Lagos a SAFE CITY.
