In the spirit of Iwaji ” New Yam Celebration”, HRH Chika Nwokedi still seems it necessary to extend magnanimity all across the Ijegun Ijeododo community he chaperones.
HRH Chika in extension of the Iwaji event invited police officers from Area M Command and those who couldn’t attend the program already observed on 17th September 2023 to be awarded. Inclusively, he invited and gave out support to an anonymous family of whom he was hinted has no form of resources to cater for their quadruplets.
HRH in his philanthropic prowess told the press that he has given the quadruplets a cheque of N100,000 as presented by Lolo Tessy Chika Nwokedi and will be responsible for the feeding of the babies until their parents are able to comfortably take over responsibilities. Other attendees of the after event of Iwaji also supported the quadruplets with some tokens to enhance the financial support.
Eze Chika in his words said:
” I feel responsible for this little ones more because they live in my jurisdiction of reign, Ijegun Ijeododo.
I’m inclined to help not because I have too much but because there is need to bless the less privileged in our society however way we can, with me the Almighty God will bless them.
I loss my father and mother early in life, I toiled to survive with no help, I slept in unsheltered places, so I made a promise that if God helps me to succeed in life, I’ll be a helper to those in need,a reason i have built several houses to shelter people.
As long as I’m alive these quadruplets will never be hungry.”
Also in attendance of the after event of Iwaji is, Invited guest from Tim jan, Chiefs and members of the Obi Chukwu palace, some friends and family.
Henry Akaba, Ambassador for Microsoft & Internet Safety, also Ambassador to Tim Jan health product known as “The life in a bottle” for it’s effectiveness in curing diverse ailments had a chat with pressmen. As the company representative, he said the health product has been in existence for over 50yrs in South Africa but introduced into Nigeria in 2022. Tim Jan Amb. said he is representing the Timjan CEO as invited by HRH Chika Nwokedi. Speaking extensively about the Tim Jan health care product, Henry said it cures over 138 ailments.
In addition to the capacity of Tim Jan, Eze Chika Nwokedi while speaking about the product said he has guaranteed persons of various tribes to embrace self care by doing regular check ups and taking health drinks like Tim Jan of N25k to N30k to keep healthy. This statements are in line with his proposed plan to establish accessible good health service for the people of ijegun Ijeododo as well as those from other communities.
The representative of the area commander Area M, appreciated the honors given to deserving police officer, apologized for not being present at the stipulated date of awards presentation due to unforseen work delegations. Promise to keep proactive measure in combating crime to keep the community safe.

Hon.Charles Mgbe Kelechi Nelson an awardee, said he is privileged to be honored in the after event ceremony of Iwaji. Says the Cultural day is in line with the Igbo tradition and must be observed before yam is consumed yearly. During the festival, Igbos exercises their cultural heritage of an old aged tradition that has existed till date.

Commended the Eze Chika of the Obi Chukwu palace for a well celebrated event as well as efforts being put in practicing the real culture of Ndigbo here in Lagos. Says according to culture and tradition, the Title men are to eat yam before the indigenes. Appreciates HRH for thoughtfully honoring him as he advises others to be good and caring to be considered deserving of honors such as this.
