Former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, Buba Galadima, has stated that with the country’s lingering insecurity, it would not be surprising if the country’s number one citizen is kidnapped.
Galadima was responding to the country’s insecurity in an interview with BBC Hausa.
“These bandits are contemptuous of the Buhari administration,” he said. Everyone was afraid of him (Buhari) at the start of the government; they expected him to be brave before he was revealed to be toothless.

Buhari knows nothing, he is powerless to act, which is why you see government officials syphoning billions from public property with no one to stop them.”
Galadima went on to say that if terrorists can break into Kuje prison, Buhari is not safe.
“If care is not taken, Buhari, too, may be kidnapped sooner or later, given the way security issues are ignored,” he said.
“Our only option now is to continue praying or arm ourselves for protection, but if we rely on this government, we will undoubtedly be killed.”
