Four suspected Eiye cult members were arrested by police in Ogun State on Tuesday.
They were apprehended while meeting late at night āin preparation for an attack on members of another cult group.ā
The suspects are Oriyomi Bankole (a.k.a Ortom), Odedina Sodiq, Shofola Ayodeji, and Adelawa Ayo, according to the Ogun State police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi.
They were apprehended at various locations in Oke-Lantoro and the technical college in Leme, according to Oyeyemi.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, had ordered the anti-cultists section, led by CSP Shobiyi Oluwatoshin, to dislodge the hoodlums.
āIn accordance with the CPāS order, the team arrived at the scene around 8:30 p.m., where four hoodlums were apprehended while others managed to flee,ā Oyeyemi said.
