Gunmen Kidnap, Kill ECWA Elder Ologun In Kogi

Gunmen kidnapped and killed the victim in Mopa town, the headquarters of the Mopa-muro Local Government Area in Kogi State.
Elder Ologun, a member of the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, and a native of Egbe town in Yagba West LGA, was allegedly kidnapped on Thursday about 10 p.m.
Pa Ologun was said to have stepped out of his house intending to turn off his generator, only to walk straight into the arms of the gunmen who, unbeknownst to him, were laying siege to his compound.

He was kidnapped and murdered the next night.
According to a source, Ologun retired from the General Hospital in Mopa as a Theater Nurse a few years ago.
When he saw the gunmen, he tried to flee, but it was too late. He then began yelling for assistance, but to no avail. His traumatized wife contributed her panicked voice, but it was in vain.
His untimely death has been widely reported on social media.
