The send forth event gathering to celebrate the man of the people CP Austines Akika during his promotion /send forth party took place at the parade ground of the Police college in Ikeja Lagos on Wednesday, 26th October, 2022. An event which attracted high profiled individuals in the society, who graced the occasion colourfully to fecilitate on the new achievement and deserving elevation bestowed on CP Akika, an amiable gallant senior police officer.
As a man of the people, CP Austines Akika attracted a gathering of guest which includes Royals and VIPs namely: Eze Lawrence, Ezendigbo Alimosho, Eze Chika Nwokedi, the Ezendigbo of Ijegun/Ijeododo, President of Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria, CEO of P. Collins Transport,Godwin Umoru, CEO of Win Oil limited Yusuf Sule, CEO Superior Heart Global Properties Remigius Nghoromike ,President of Aswani market, Charles Okonkwor, CEO/Chairman Rhyme Grace Enterprise Chief Nwatakwachaa, Chairman Director, Long Bar restaurant, Oge Best, Woman leader igbo speaking committee, Some friends, wellwishers and members of the press…. To merry with the newly promoted commissioner of police due to his tenacity to work and the progressive disposition he possesses.
The new feather added to his wing as a Commissioner of Police is a well deserved one due to his diligence to work as an outstanding officer. He is a man loved by many for his fairness and equity towards investigations as well as a crime buster.In his many years of service, he is known for his friendliness, resilience to work, tenacity, fairness in handling issues, thorough investigative capacity, neatness, humanitarian prowess and accountability as a police officer.
The press in attendace of the event had an interraction with multiple award winning super cop, CP Austines Akika. During the chat, he noted that he is highly delighted to be promoted to the rank of a commisioner of police, something he had gradually worked up in the last 32 years of service. He stated that being a CP is the topmost ranking, all other promotion is political and as such, the most important factor to be taken note of as a police officer is to work assiduously to attain the rank of CP. He gives glory to God for the new achievement as he plans how best to discharge his duties in securing the nation.
He also noted that his job, duty and responsibility is to ensure that lives and properties in nigeria are safe, noting that this assignment is obtainable and achievable as a Commissioner of police. Promises to ensure peace and security in any state he is been delegated to work as he advances in strides.
CP Akika advises the younger officers to work hard and ensure that their integrity is not at stake by any means. He also advises that they abstain from unwholly practices that could dent the image of the police in the public eye.

All should work to ensure that the Police force is recognised, respected as it is expected to be. Again, the younger officers should work with the community by promoting community policing to help curb crimes while serving the people … If they keep to the principles which guides a successful policing career, promotion will always come at it’s set time, They Should work professionally in a way that commands integrity, he said.
CP Austines Akika is now in charge of General Investigations, Force CID Abuja, a well deserved elevation, a commendation for his resilience to work that he had portrayed over these years as a crime combatant.
