FG will commission the Digital Nigeria Centre in Osun On Friday

On Friday, the Federal Government will open a Digital Nigeria Centre (DNC) in Osun State.

The DNC project will be launched in Ilesa, Aregbesola’s hometown, by Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami and his Interior counterpart, Rauf Aregbesola.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) announced on Tuesday that Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola would be a Special Guest of Honor.

The DNC, formerly known as School Knowledge Centre, aims to increase ICT literacy among school teachers and students, provide a platform for accessing online educational resources, equip students with ICT skills, facilitate ICT adoption in teaching and learning, and increase pass rates in mathematics, English language, and other science subjects, according to the statement.

“This project is located at the Ijesa Muslim Grammar School, Ilesa, and is the first to be commissioned in Osun State since the project was renamed DNC,” the statement continued.
