EMPOWERMENT: PRALARG INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY

Prisons Rehabilitation and Law Abiding Organisation PRALARG International a non governmental organization committed to promoting social justice and human dignity especially among prison inmates have announced a multipurpose society and free interest loan scheme for empowerment.
This announcement was made on Wednesday by the Chief Executive Officer of PRALARG Comrade Pralagian Olayemi Akinwunmi.
He said “. I want to formally notify the general public that the Board of Trustees of Prisons Rehabilitation and Law Abiding Organization (PRALARG International) has duly approved the formation and operation of a cooperative society to support and empower its members.
PRALARG International hereby informs the general public, stakeholders, and all registered members of its intention to launch a Multipurpose Cooperative Society aimed at deepening its empowerment objectives and improving the socio-economic wellbeing of individuals and communities.
It was gathered that the cooperative society is designed as a non-interest loan cooperative, with a primary focus on empowering Pralarg International members as the take-off beneficiaries. Through this initiative, members will have access to soft loans without interest, to support small businesses, entrepreneurship, skills development, and other productive ventures that can make life easier and more sustainable.
Comrade Pralagian Olayemi added that the initiative is In line with its long-standing commitment to human dignity and social justice, ” PRALARG International also announces its broader empowerment plans, which include empowerment programs for inmates and the general public. These programs will be rolled out progressively as part of the organization’s holistic approach to uplifting the downtrodden and promoting self-reliance.
The establishment of this cooperative society marks a significant step toward achieving PRALARG International’s mission of true empowerment beyond handouts, enabling individuals to grow, become self-determined, and contribute meaningfully to society.”.
