Christmas: Buhari assures Nigerians that he will keep his promises to them

2 min read

Nigerians have been assured by President Muhammadu Buhari that he will keep his promises to them.
As a result, he urged Nigerians to rekindle hope in the country by using the Christmas season to demonstrate love for one another.
Buhari said Nigerians should use the holiday season to “encourage ourselves so that the machinations of the wicked ones in our midst will find no place to thrive” in his Christmas message on Friday.
“The true test of a nation emerges in the midst of adversity,” he added in the message.
“I implore Nigerians to summon our indomitable spirit and see the current state of affairs as a phase that will pass, just as other unsavory situations in the country’s history have.”
This government will not back down from its promises to Nigerians for a better future.

“While noting that the government’s diversification drive is “bearing fruit,” Buhari reaffirmed his commitment to do more.
He said, “We will continue to create opportunities for our thronging youths to vent their tremendous energy.”
On the fight against insecurity, Buhari promised that Nigerians would soon see an improvement thanks to the renewed commitment of security agencies.
His administration, he claims, has continued to assist security personnel in carrying out their duties, resulting in “remarkable successes.”
“I am confident that with the renewed commitment and empowerment of our dedicated security personnel, all of these issues that cause us pain and trauma will soon be history,” Buhari said, urging “encouragement to our gallant security personnel who are fulfilling their oaths to keep us safe.”
