Ayom consults with Mzough-U-Tiv about his presidential ambitions in 2023

Chief Moses Ayom, a business mogul, has hinted to the Tiv socio-cultural organization Mzough-U-Tiv Worldwide and the Tiv nation that he intends to run for President of Nigeria in 2023.
This comes as imams and bishops from the North-Central geopolitical zone have urged political heavyweights such as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and former Senate President Bukola Saraki, among others, to reconsider their plans to run for the position and instead support Moses Ayom.

On a courtesy visit to the Makurdi residence of the President General of Mzough-U-Tiv, Chief Iorbee Ihagh, Ayom, who was accompanied by a large entourage of imams, clerics, and other supporters, said he was still seeking the face of God before making his final declaration to run for the position.

In the meantime, the businessman from Mbadede in Benue’s Vandeikya Local Government Area said his visit was to consult and seek blessings from the MUT ahead of his ambition to run for president in 2023.
Based on his role as a businessman, the presidential candidate asserted that he has the ability to lead the country, having traversed the corridors of power and having a fair understanding of the economy.
Chief Ihagh, a retired Comptroller of Prisons, responded by praising the presidential candidate for taking the risk of running for the country’s top political office.
