Cadet ASP Course 21, 2002 celebrates 20 years of hard work and dedication in a grand style. The 2 day event commenced with a peace walk in Ikeja lagos on 19th August 2022 and a dinner thereafter solely organized by members to create an imprint.
The 2nd day event of the 20th anniversary celebration was held at the Radisson Blu hotel in Lagos on the 20th August, 2022.
These gallant men of the law had taken out time to coordinate a commendable array of program to celebrate years of dedication and service to humanity.
They are the 1st cadet officers during late inspector general of Police,( IGP) TAFA BALOGUN.
After 18 months of basic training at the police academy, these members of ASP Course 21 graduated in 2004 and was about 473 enlisted officers ( Trainees) in 2002.
Evidently, Some of these officers have grown over the years with promotions to show for their hardwork, resilience, commitment and dexterity.
Amongst them are Divisional police officers, 2nd in command of area commands,(2ics) , tactical operation commanders and assistant commissioners of Police.
Amongst the list of coordinators is CSP Olabisi Okuwobi whom is admired greatly for her prowess towards making the essence of her job impactful to many as she has served in different notable capabilities as PPRO and DPO. CSP Olabisi as well as colleagues created this rare opportunity to express through actions the gratitude felt to have achieved and progressed through policing despite various challenges.
To affirm reformation sustainability, members in one voice charges the public to be part of the ongoing reformation strategy put in place by the IG, Usman Alkali Baba for effective policing as he is hell-bent on sanitizing the force.
The Chairman of the anniversary planning committee, ACP SANUSI Jidda in addition to what colleagues had stated appealed to the federal government to introduce digital innovation in policing for officers to be rated in high standard internationally.

Members also seized the opportunity to remember some colleagues who had died in the line of duty, praying that their soul RIP.
The two-day anniversary which featured peace walk and lectures delivered by some eminent speakers from across the country, rounded off activities by treating members and guest to a dinner while appreciating one another for a memorable 20th anniversary celebration.
